A well-established assisted living and retirement community in L.A., is looking for a Director of Sales & Marketing to lead our occupancy growth efforts. This is a high-impact role focused on building relationships, converting leads, and driving move-ins.
We’re seeking someone who knows how to hustle, follow through, and make things happen. This position reports to the Executive Director.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the sales process—manage inquiries, conduct tours, follow up, and close move-ins
Build occupancy through community outreach, referral relationships, and agency coordination
Partner with the Administrator on marketing strategy, resident retention, and family relations
Maintain accurate, compliant documentation for new residents per RCFE licensing guidelines
Coordinate and attend events, presentations, and outreach efforts to raise community visibility
Regularly report on lead activity, conversions, and marketing performance
What We’re Looking For:
3–5 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in senior living, or healthcare
Proven success in meeting or exceeding occupancy goals
Excellent communication, follow-up, and organizational skills
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Gerontology, Healthcare Admin, or related field preferred
Compassionate and professional with a strong sense of urgency
Available Tuesday–Saturday
