ROLE: Marketing Manager
REPORTS INTO: Managing Director
Hybrid role based in Los Angeles (Arts District)
What is a Marketing Manager at Salt & Pinch:
The Internal Marketing Manager will bring both agencies' stories to life. They’ll craft award-winning submissions (literally), keep our social channels fresh, and curate content that celebrates our culture and showcases our best work. They’ll manage timelines, gather assets, fine-tune messaging, and make sure every deck, sizzle reel, and LinkedIn post reflects who we are and what we do best. Job Responsibilities:
Brand Positioning & Storytelling
Develop and evolve both agencies' brand voice and positioning in the marketplace.
Craft compelling case studies, decks, and credentials that highlight our work.
Ensure all external-facing materials reflect both the agencies' capabilities and culture.
Public Relations
Act as liaison with our PR agency.
Manage action items and deadlines.
Identify Public Relations and marketing opportunities.
Collaborate with internal teams (Creative, Production, Strategy) to gather briefs, case studies, metrics, and assets.
Awards & Industry Recognition.
Research and identify relevant award opportunities in the experiential, event production, and marketing industries alongside our PR partner.
Manage the award submission communications, calendar and deadlines.
Write and edit compelling submissions that align with award criteria and agency tone.
Social Media Coordination
Act as the key liaison with our external social media partner.
Provide project timelines, updates, assist in selecting photos/assets for posts and assist in sourcing content partners when needed.
Ensure content accurately reflects recent work, client guidelines, and internal brand standards.
Maintain an internal calendar of key social content opportunities (e.g., event launches, press mentions, team spotlights).
Content, Website & Marketing Support
Maintain the marketing asset library with up-to-date images, videos, and project summaries.
Manage the content capture process per project.
Assist with creating sizzle reels and other marketing materials.
Coordinate updating the website and linkedin platforms as needed.
Oversee SEO strategy as part of broader digital marketing efforts.
Business Support
Manage email marketing, event marketing (e.g., agency-hosted events), and client gifting strategy to warm relationships.
Manage marketing budgets (e.g., PR, Social Media, Award Submissions, etc.)
Help craft RFP responses and pitch materials that bring the agency’s work and value to life.
Requirements
5+ years of marketing, communications, or agency experience (preferably in events or creative industries)
Exceptional organizational and project management skills
Strong writing and editing ability
Familiarity with creative and production workflows
A good creative eye for social and website content
Comfortable working with cross-functional remote teams and external vendors
Working knowledge of Google Workspace, Slack, and project management tools (e.g., Airtable, Trello)
Bonus: Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or social media scheduling platforms
