Title: Marketing Director Compensation: Starting at $100k/yr Schedule: Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 5:30 pm Location: Los Angeles, CA, near the Culver City Area
The Director of Marketing is responsible for developing, leading, and executing marketing and outreach strategies that promote the community and support optimal occupancy. This leadership role oversees all internal and external marketing efforts, including outreach, event planning, public relations, lead management, and referral relationships. The Director of Marketing serves as a key liaison between the community, prospective residents, families, referral sources, and the broader community, ensuring the organization’s mission, services, and values are communicated effectively and compassionately.
What You Will Do:
Develop, implement, and lead a comprehensive marketing and outreach strategy to achieve and sustain full occupancy.
Advertising and networking with churches and religious communities
Plan, coordinate, and oversee internal and external marketing events, including open houses, seminars, and community networking activities.
Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective residents and families; conduct tours, manage follow-up, and support the admissions process.
Oversee lead tracking, reporting, and follow-up processes using CRM or database systems to ensure timely and professional engagement.
Build, manage, and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, senior centers, discharge planners, case managers, and other referral sources.
Collaborate with department heads to ensure seamless move-ins and a welcoming onboarding experience for new residents.
Direct the development, production, and distribution of all marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, digital content, and advertising campaigns.
Represent the community at networking events, health fairs, and public forums to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
Analyze market trends, census data, and demographics to identify opportunities and adjust marketing strategies as needed.
Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels, messaging, and materials.
Assist in the development, management, and monitoring of the marketing budget.
Participate in weekly census and leadership meetings, providing updates on leads, outreach efforts, and marketing performance.
Address inquiries and concerns from families and prospects with professionalism, empathy, and discretion.
What You Will Need to Succeed:
Strong knowledge of senior living services, including assisted living and memory care.
Proven leadership, relationship-building, and strategic marketing skills.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities.
Proficiency with marketing platforms, social media, CRM systems, and basic graphic design tools.
Collaborative leadership style with the ability to work effectively across departments.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in marketing, sales, or outreach within senior living, healthcare, or hospitality.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for community outreach activities.
