Our mission is to promote American values through the creative use of digital media, technology and edu-tainment. We’re proud to be voted among the “Best Place to Work in Los Angeles” by the LA Business Journal 4 years in a row.

We’re looking for a high-impact, service-oriented leader to step into the Chief of Staff, Marketing role, reporting directly to the CMO. This person will drive operational excellence across the marketing department, owning day-to-day workflows and administrative infrastructure while partnering closely with production, web, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution at the highest level. In addition to operational execution, this role will help translate the CMO’s strategic vision into actionable marketing priorities across teams, ensuring alignment between brand, growth, and content initiatives.

At its core, this role is about doing what the day requires, as priorities will shift. The Chief of Staff will act as a force multiplier for the CMO by driving alignment, accountability, and execution across the marketing function. The ideal candidate is humble, proactive, and willing to roll up their sleeves in a growing organization where no task is too small or too large. This person must anticipate challenges, prevent issues before they arise, and effectively direct traffic to keep initiatives moving forward.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review the CMO and marketing/production calendars daily and weekly, proactively optimizing priorities to align with campaign launches, content releases, audience growth initiatives, and highest-ROI marketing strategies.
  • Draft and proofread high-impact internal and external communications from the Office of the CMO, including brand messaging, campaign announcements, executive thought leadership, donor communications, and key marketing updates.
  • Partner closely with the CMO and marketing leadership on evolving needs, including coordinating travel for industry conferences and media appearances, supporting offsite brand and growth strategy sessions, overseeing marketing events, and collaborating with EAs to ensure seamless execution.
  • Work cross-functionally with content, growth, and creative teams to drive operational efficiency, supporting campaign workflows, reviewing messaging for brand alignment, expediting approvals, and ensuring CMO-led initiatives stay on track and on schedule.
  • Collaborate with program and performance marketing teams to refine and optimize marketing SOPs, KPIs, dashboards, and reporting cadences on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, while strengthening onboarding processes for new marketing hires to ensure immediate alignment with brand and growth objectives.
  • Structure and coordinate quarterly board presentations from a marketing perspective, including preparing audience growth updates, campaign performance reports, brand strategy insights, and managing board communications and onsite logistics as needed.

Successful Candidates Will Possess:

  • 5 to 7+ years of senior-level experience in high-growth organizations with 100+ employees and $50M+ in revenue, along with 10+ years of overall professional experience. Background in media, marketing, or mission-driven brands preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft executive-level messaging, marketing narratives, and board-ready materials. Highly organized with strong project management capabilities across cross-functional marketing teams.
  • Strategic operator with sound judgment and low ego who understands when to elevate decisions to the CMO and when to independently drive initiatives forward to maintain speed and momentum.
  • Results-driven and highly motivated, with a strong performance mindset. This role partners closely with the CMO and requires someone who thrives in fast-paced marketing environments, takes ownership, and operates with a company-first mentality.
  • Strong alignment with our mission and values, including a clear understanding of the conservative movement and fluency in our digital media ecosystem, audience, and brand positioning.
  • Hands-on and adaptable, willing to step in wherever needed. This includes drafting executive communications, preparing board and growth presentations, supporting major campaign launches, reviewing messaging, coordinating industry events, and handling last-minute operational needs to ensure marketing initiatives execute flawlessly.
