Description

Working in the Marketing & Communications department, this role will cover the following duties in support of philanthropic and programmatic goals. Digital planning and content creation will be central to success in this position. This is a hybrid role: 3 days/week in an office environment, some remote work each week (two days). Additionally, expectation of attendance of relevant JVS SoCal, industry and/or partner events.

Requirements
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal relations.
  • Solid knowledge of Mac OS, Microsoft Office + Outlook are necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the SVP Marketing & Communications with planning, strategy, and deadlines.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects and teams effectively.
  • Develop and maintain digital assets, archival materials and other media for use in marketing and communication campaigns.
  • Prepare, review and revise marketing and communications documents, videos, articles, email blasts, etc.
  • Create power-point and other presentations to summarize analysis about the effectiveness of different marketing and communications tactics, campaigns or actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement communications plans and campaigns
  • Work with internal stakeholders to define marketing goals and strategies to achieve objectives and key results.
  • Use tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, AI-generative technologies like ChatGPT, Co-Pilot, etc. to create and develop communications assets. 
  • Support with documentation for priority areas of work.
  • Proactively identify and troubleshoot data and/or technical issues.
  • Other duties as assigned.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Most of the worked hours will be based at the corporate office on Wilshire Blvd (at San Vicente), and most of the work will be conducted on a computer. Occasional support in lifting, moving and organizing materials up to 50lbs.
