The CRM and Email Marketing Manager is responsible for the development, execution and measurement of our CRM and Email Marketing efforts. This role will leverage data-driven analytics to develop and implement strategies and journeys to drive acquisition and retention of our core consumer segments. They will partner on our capabilities and processes to deliver personalized campaigns across touchpoints of the consumer, customer and patient experience.

Essential Duties:

  • Drive strategy, execution, and performance of consumer/customer engagement for CRM marketing program, including acquisition, activation, and retention.
  • Develop and execute CRM and email marketing roadmap, segmentation, and content planning across consumer and audience segments.
  • Manage distribution of all email sends against a planned editorial calendar and learning agenda that includes A/B testing of content, layout and design.
  • Support the development of a digital measurement framework and track performance against CRM KPIs.
  • Uses data-mining techniques and analytic capabilities to develop segmentation strategies.
  • Define emerging trends of customers and the marketplace to identify new opportunities for Keck Medicine of USC and innovation in CRM. Deliver recommendations and serve as a subject matter expert on CRM approach tools, marketplace trends, list pulls, testing environments and CRM standard methodologies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Req Bachelor's degree Marketing Degree in Marketing, Technology, Science or related
  • Req 3 years 3-5 years of experience in email marketing, CRM marketing, direct marketing, database marketing, and/or lifecycle marketing
  • Req Experience with the entire process of automated outbound and inbound marketing (e.g., lead scoring/nurturing/routing, campaign development and management, landing page and form building and optimization, and reporting/analytics).
  • Req Demonstrated experience in email marketing, CRM marketing, direct marketing, database marketing, and/or lifecycle marketing
  • Req Experience with InDesign, Canva, or other design software a plus; HTML and CMS experience (WordPress) a plus.
  • Req Experience using CRM/engagement marketing technology, specifically Salesforce Marketing Cloud, to drive business results, including CRM databases.
  • Req Knowledge of customer segmentation techniques, persona development, and lifecycle management
  • Req Experience in marketing analytics and analytics tools such as Google Analytics to measure how CRM is contributing toward business goals
  • Req Ability to work collaboratively with both external vendors and agencies as well as internal Marketing and IT teams
  • Req Knowledge of customer segmentation techniques, persona development, and lifecycle management
  • Req Ability to give creative direction for both visual design and copy that results in engaging and on-brand deliverables
  • Req Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking and time management with on-time delivery is critical to success
  • Req Passion for translating data analytics into action-oriented growth strategies
  • Req Collaborative, positive team player with excellent communication, writing and verbal skills as well as being highly analytical.

Required Licenses/Certifications:

  • Req Fire Life Safety Training (LA City) If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire and maintained by renewal before expiration date. (Required within LA City only)

The hourly rate range for this position is $53.00 - $87.45.
